First of all I must say, I hate the heat; Having asthma and being allergic to a dozen types of trees and grass doesnt help much; so I drink lots of iced coffee,tea, water and write in my a/c'd tiny office in my tiny apartment. I wait for summer to end, and my favorite season, Autumn to begin! Ah cant wait to wear jeans, socks and a jacket again!
I love summer, dog days and all. Come January when the temps dip below zero, and the heating bills climb high, you'll think back to these days and realize the hot days weren't that bad.Meanwhile, you can stay cool with ac, or jump into a pool or the lake. I much prefer wearing sleeveless tops and shorts than a thick winter jacket. :-)

ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite season, also.
ReplyDeleteThe air can be crisp in the morning and evening and warm during the day. Most of the pollen is gone.
I have recovered a spring to my step that the summer heat takes away. And it is cozy to sleep with blankets and be able to snuggle into sweaters.

I love the cold! And for the sake of the public, it is much better for my arms to be covered. ;~}}
DeleteI love summer...I'll take the heat, dog days and all. I can't deal with cold. :)
